Have to work tomorrow so cap lifting is planned for Sunday. I did pull the fuel tank hatch and clean some foam out. I just do not understand how its possible to remove the tank with the cap on without cutting. The tank is literrally the same size as the hole. Then you cant get to the foam to get it out. So far I have found a little rot where the lines run thru the stringers. No glass on the raw edges. I did find out that the putty between stringers and cap does not hold good. I pulled one side up a little and broke the other side loose with a flat bar. Too bad my neighbors do not like the sound of a diesel at night, I would be pulling the cap tonight. Oh well I will save it for Sunday during the day.
