I know this seems elementary, but how did you get the boat on the stands, and paint behind the stands. Do you just use a car jack? Are you able to easily move them between coats?

Since I borrowed these boat jacks, I had to take what I could get. With that said, they where too tall to place under the boat at the stern so I had to jack up the whole trailer at the stern one side at a time until I could slide the jack under the boat. I then lowered the trailer down leaving the boat up on the jack. Repeated for each side. From there on it was a lot of jockeying around of the floor jack and the boat jack. Moving each time I reached a cross member or axle. Don't get me wrong.......not for the faint at heart LOL. I did not move the jacks to paint in between coats. I will have a little touching up to do on the trailer.

Kracker Jack.....I have been following your build on THT. Looking sweet.
