More Pics as promised. Does anyone know what wellcraft used as a filler on the stb side in the corner there was what looked like a paste maybe cause it was very moist and came out in chunks with a flat tip screwdriver. lots of sanding and grindning to do. The stringers look solid but im going to take the glass off of the first little bit atleast to fish into the the new transom. I was wrong Its an '85 hull I should know better being a boarding officer in the Coast Guard and all. Seems like a lot of work for such an old boat. But the everything sounds and looks solid except for the transom and a few nicks around the forward deck boxes Ill take pics of the whole boat tomorrow. Have to go buy filters for my 3m mask dont want to breathe all that dust hasnt been that bad chipping out all that wood. still dont understand why the transom was pieced together I guess to maintain the curve.???

More to come...

The first little bit of the stringers were wet and soft. Most of the sanding is done need to do a little tuch up work but its coming along. Thats a pc of the inside of the trailer eye bolt. Needs a little work there too after the transom. Taking a break for the holiday and leaving town for a couple of days so no more work until next week. Merry Christmas from Key West its warm and no snow
