Thanks for the info. My Johnson is a 20" and I noticed in the ebay ad that the one guy asked if it was a 20". The guy selling the part didn't seem to know, but the "buy-it-now" price seems great, alot better than $425.00 ::)

I know what you mean about the a$$ pain! I suppose the part being SS means that you buy it once and never worry about rust/corrosion ever again. This is one I will have to ponder on and discuss with the Admiral, she OK's what I can buy! ::)

I have not one clue as to if that one on ebay would fit the 175 Johnson or not. My model # is J175TLCTD and the serial # is J5853159 so who knows if that one on Ebay would fit. I noticed you also have the 175 Johnson and is your model the same as mine? Mine is a 1983.

Mine's an 86' purchased new in 88'. I think we've got the same motor. I'll check when I get home.

most OMC steering arms are a like just depends on 20" 25" or 30" motor.
