Pretty good deal considering the motor. But... You'd have to take care of that bottom paint. Pretty sloppy job, seems like a lotta drag going through the water to me.

If I were him, I'd part it out or at least sell the motor separate from the hull and trailer. He's going to lose quite a bit of $$

Take the top off I give you $2500 and for $500 more I buy a brand new top like what I just bought!!

$6500, first you need a trailer, 2nd he says its a 2004 motor left over from 2005?? Soda Blast the bottom and Seal & Paint And thats if everything else proves to be solid, transom, deck ect... ect... ect...

NADA says a 2004 150 is about $6100 but with motors you never know as they are open to all kinds of things that make them junk, from Gas to hitting rocks, to low oil. Its buyer beware on used motors.

Not that there are not good deals out there cause there is!! I have gotten stuff much older that is great and I got stuff thats junk. Look at Therms thread, he got a bad power head just now.

If all ck's out its a good deal for the motor but the hull needs work thats for sure. New trailer and bottom will be another $3K then you in for $10K

so don't forget to look at the big picture!!
