I had 2 on the one side in my 75, pleanty of room. But you could go to the other side if you want?
I have moved my 2nd battery to the cuddy now. I run all eletronics off that one and the motor from the rear one. Charge both when heading in and out to the fishing grounds.

I have two batteries. Trim pump is on the starboard side with one battery and the other battery is in a similar location on the port side. The battery switch is mounted on the outward facing side of the bulkhead between the starboard side rear hatch and the engine cover. Access to the switch is through the rear hatch by lifting out the plastic box that drops into the hole. I moved the switch there when I got tired of lifting the engine cover to turn the batteries on and off.
