| Livewells in bow

Has anyone ever converted the bow boxes on their center console to live wells. I was thinking about putting one of these in each side an plumbing the both to a big diaphragm pump and a secock. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/te...amp;hasJS=true I was also going to put a three way valve on there so i could have a raw water wash down. Those boxes are above the waterline so draining will not be a problem. what do you think? |

http://www.wellcraftv20.com/cgi-bin/...num=1183755155 The above link will take you down a couple of steps, I have a portable 45 gl live well that I strep down in front of that large cooler, It balances the boat a bit better and it's out of the way. The other day I got home from towing 90 miles and my fluke and black fish were still alive ;D Talking about eating fresh fish ;)

I would be a little concerned about the live baits being beat up from the bow bouncing any kind of chop. I like mine nice and frisky.

No way, the further back the better. Mine had the livewell in the front of the console and that was too far forward for me. Water all splashed out and baits got beat to death! I cut it out and built into the leaning post.
