Default Hey everyone I am Home!!

I back on old Cape Cod!! Had a great time!! I was able to see everything the family wanted to aand talk fishing with a few!
I caught a 6# Halabuit off the Santa Monic peir. They catch small herrin off the peir and then use it for bait. I know its not like the herrin we use here?? looks different
but thats what they call it??
After talking to a few persons I guess the fishing north of San Digo sucks!! You get a few here and there but it is a big Deasert!
They have some striper hybreads in the Castaic Lake but nothing huge, and they are best in the Fall.
Shell fish is non exsintent!! The guys were saying how lucky we are here on the East Coast to have the fishing and shell fish that we have and would gladly trade the short season we have here, for the long season with crap there!

Well I am here and after a few days of getting back to normal I will be starting to finish the repower of my buddys boat and start getting my boat ready to go!! Won't be long now!!

Welcome back! I saw a fishing show about catching stripers in Boston's harbor. Looks like fun. They were using Santini's Tubes. You better get ready they are coming. Bill Mc ;D
