Default Took the V out today!!

Wife finally got the ok from doc to go out in the boat couple of weeks ago. Weathers been iffy and busy working on projects, but today was great and a break in work, so we went.

Haven t been out in 4-6 weeks, almost forgot how to hook it all up. We left about 11 , putzed around for about 4 hours in the bay. Had a great time and she did great all transitions from boat to dock and vice versa went smoothly.

It s not earth shaking news and no pics, but been so slow on here, figured it would give ya ll something new to read.

Gonna try to go surf fishing after TG,hopefully have pics then

Bet it felt good getting out there, yeah I know that was a stupid question!! Surf fishing, not fishing off the boat?

Thanks guys, worst part of the whole deal is missing October and November, my two favorite months of the year. Also a pretty good fall run of pompano,, if i can believe my fishing buddies.

G, we usually take the boat to a barrier island ,anchor it on the bayside. Walk over to the Gulf and fish from beach. There is about 25-30 miles of undeveloped gulf front that belongs to the federal and state govt. about 7 miles is accessible by boat only, the rest by vehicle or foot. Some of the best prime surf fishing in our area

Phat, that sounds like a real fun day, even the surf casting part. I guess you can tell I'm not a big surfer guy, I don't know exactly why, it just never caught on with me and I've tried.
Enjoy & HAPPY THANKSGIVING to ALL & BE SAFE, watch out for all those LUNATIC TERRORISTS out there.

I remember when we lived in Tom's River, NJ the roads were filled with tourests heading to the shore beaches. We looked forward to fall and winter just so we could drive safely. That being said, most times they were just a hinderance, not a real problem, and you had to love the money they brought to the towns.
