Default Sea tow or tow boat U.S

What towing company do you feel is better? I use tow boat U.S for a long time but I'm thinking of changing the reason is that my son called for tow boat in the winter and they yo told him to call sea tow and they will reemburse him for the money.

I always had Sea Tow, never a problem, maybe a long wait time, do to the time of the season. My friends have Boat US and the couple of times they needed a tow, it seemed liked the ones running the boat didn't have a clue. I also think you had answered your own question. Just my thoughts.

It seems to be more of a regional question. In some areas seatow is better, in others it's towboat us. I have neither because where I primarily boat neither one will go. Just towed somebody in last Saturday for over an hour because it is a very shallow river that only flat bottom skiffs and jon boats can get in to. I would ask on tht and see what others in your area are using.

Cool

Usually both Sea Tow and Tow Boat US know each other and both usually are very knowledgeable. Sometimes if one or the other is already responding to a situation and a call comes in they will direct the caller to the other company simply to get them help. Call it a mutual admiration society. Point being they help boaters first, and if that help has to come in the form of telling them to call a different company then that's what they do.

I have Tow Boat US, only because I get a discounted rate through my boat insurance.

Both seem very competent and reliable in my area...although that is only from watching others utilize them...knock on wood.

Same here on all counts. The two seem to work together and assist one another around here.

Not sure if it still works this way, but at one time sea tow covers a vessel, tow boat covers whatever boat your on.

I ve been a tow boat member for 99, never had to use them yet.

Insurance is the only thing u buy and hope you never use it.
