Default Valentine's is coming

Public service message to all the guys...as a "Floral Delivery Technician" I can tell you honestly that sending flowers to a woman at work is the best thing you can do. They get flowers and everyone at work sees them get flowers! So don't over-think it Don't wait til the last minute. Don't mumble to yourself about "made up holidays". You spend stupid amounts of money on fishing rods and bait, lost golf balls, football pools and drinking in bars. Buy her flowers. Do it NOW.

Order from us at A Blossom Shop or google* a real local florist in your area and ask for "a dozen roses arranged in a vase with baby's breath and greens" delivered on Valentine's Day. It won't hurt. I promise. PLEASE do NOT order flowers in a box delivered by UPS from ProFlowers or the like... if you do you're an idiot.

*be careful because the internet lies.

Make sure that the florist is a brick & mortar business with a real street address in or near the town. There are a lot of "order gathering" websites that show up as serving your town but they just take the order, charge you a hidden fee and send it to a real florist....or they mail dry flowers in a box by UPS or Fedex. FYI its frigging cold in February...picture that box sitting on a truck, then sitting on your porch..... now picture black frozen roses....

Cool

Skunk, how does it work? If I order from you, do you then send the order to a local florist since I'm in Northern NJ? I'd like to see you get the credit for the order, but I'm thinking you're not about to personally make a delivery to Lodi.

We can and do take orders for outside our delivery zones. We would add an $8 relay fee and send it to another shop thru FTD. We would get a small % back from the filling florist thru FTD.

I would suggest however that you find a local florist who has been in your town for 40 years and use them. That way you get flowers for your money and you deal directly with the people making and delivering.

Be careful because google will show you "ForYouFlowers" or "Rita's" and they are not florists. Find one that has a street address and is a real local business.
