I lost my 10/22

Ya'll will remember when I posted up about taking the girls to the shooting range. My youngest daughter, Kendall(8) got a bit flustered trying to shoot my 10/22


the reach was too long for her, she had to put the stock under her arm and hold her head sideways to try and shoot it, it didn't take long and she was ready to put it down and pick up my 22/45. She liked it a lot. Well i got the idea and put an add on armslist for a 10/22 stock to play with(didn't want to screw up my good stock), The stock I got(for free from a guy who thought it was a great idea to teach kids proper gun handling and safety) had been broken and been repaired. I sanded it down, cut 2 inches off the end, then cut the fore end off to get rid of the barrel band(don't like the look). I asked Kendall what color, she said purple, i asked why not pink, she said both, so here's what it looked like.

so, I lost my 10/22, its Kendall's now. My oldest informed me that now i have to fix up her Model 60, anyone got a spare stock for a 60? If the weather holds, we'll take it to the range Sunday

finally got a marlin stock and finished up Kaylee's model 60 tonight, tiffinay blue of course

funny, I lost my 10/22 as well. a bit different, it was in my dad's closet when sandy arrived. the house filled with 5 feet of standing salt water and she drowned. oh well, I like your loss better.
