So I have been telling you about some of the sucess I have had shooting Hornady GMX and Barns XXX Bullets. I am hooked they are truly unbeatable in there preformance. Dad and I have shot 14 big game criters
in the last 3 years with them. 2 with a 300wsm-GMX 2 with a 270-XXX the rest with a 243-GMX . All lung shots except for one and I have only recovered 3 ( 2-243 lung both elk 1-270 head moose ). They all hit mutiple bones doubled there Diamater and lost less than 3 Grains. I have never had bullets hold together like these. I always shot good bullets like Nosler partions, corelocks, interlocks Ect. Non of them did on a constant basis what these did to game. I prefere the GMX to the XXX in the pics you can see the GMX opened up 6 pettles and the XXX had 4. The "Deadly Mushroom" hit 2 ribs and a leg bone fell out while skining ![]() This one was quatering shot on a bull elk 2 ribs and part of the front shoulder ![]() Big cow moose shot in the head hit a neck bone was on the skin
