Passed away this evening. I know you were ready for it, but it doesn't really make it any easier.
I'm very sorry for your loss Pal.

Thanks CB for letting everyone know!

I got a call this morning saying ma had a bad night, we called the nurse and she came out and asked uf if we wanted her home or at the care center? Ma was still aware of things and went to the care center.
Once there she went down pretty fast, but was still with us but lost her abilty to speak, Imade sureshe could understand me then read her the card i made, we both had a tear in our eye! I am so glad she got to hear it!!
After that she just got a little more pain and she got some meds and went to sleep. As the night went on we could see her breathing getting bad, and increased her meds as this went on, then at 9:45 pm she was gone
her\ 4 sons wifes grandkids and friends were there to say goodbye. we had a priest there in the afternoon, and she was able to confess and get last rights which is what she wanted. Her sister from NY is a minster and she also did last righys so I said to her you betterhurry and go as there will never be a better time then now! I belive she smiled :)

Ma we miss you already!! RIP! Your sleeping with the Angles now!!

As terrible as it sounds, at least she went quickly and didn't suffer longer. I'm so happy you got to read her your card MJ. I'm sure it meant a great deal to her. God bless both of you.

My bet is she felt no pain at all while you were reading the card to her...took her away from her situation, if only for a brief time...it's hard to see them go down like that and then to pass on as will we all. You did good, MJ...you did a whole lot of good...
