Default New Here

Just got back into a V20 again after a few years without one. Finally came back to my senses. First v20 is what I grew up fishing on as a kid, 1978 w/ a 115hp Johnson. Then got my own back in college, 1979 w/ a 1986 Yamaha 150. Then got rid of that to get a 27' walkaround. A few hurricane deductibles later, back into a v20 again. Better fuel bills, and I can haul it away for the storms. This one's a 1991 model w/ a 200 Yamaha. A few changes since the older models, but the hull is the same great design. Fish box now where the fuel tank was. Will be interesting to see if shifting the fuel tank aft will change the ride much. A few other nice little touches they added in, but all-in-all it's still the same great boat they made from the beginning. Glad to be back in one again.

Took her out on her first long run in the Gulf yesterday. 3-4' footers out there but ran like a charm. Ran 15 kts. into it w/out a problem. Following seas always keep you on your toes in a v20.

Thanks for the big welcome. I'll post some new photos soon.
