Some of yas might recall that my daughter, for her tenth birthday, asked to build "a kid sized rowboat with Daddy." I think she's the boy I allus wanted. The project is coming along: seats in, rails on. Next it's a couple corner pieces, then flip her over and glass the seams on the outside. With quarter-ply we did some "invisible butt-joints" that I hadn't done before. No, that's not clothing for plumbers. It's a layer of epoxy and glass on each side, and no scarphing required! Here are some pix. Oh, I'm all but varnished on the pair of oars I'm going to surprise her with when she finishes the boat.

Good job! Looking great, and I can't think of any better way to spend time with your daughter, well, maybe out on the water in the boat you built together.
