Got two grouse, no woodcock, found none they have moved south already. Early this year, not a good sign for weather to come :-/
Had some beautiful points out of the pups and grouse are hard to pin down for a point, had more shots but those feathered rockets had my number, put a tree or something between us before flushing every time. I did make one outstanding piroughette type shot while having one leg on a rock and one in the air crossing a deadfall tree when the little wise guy flushed from behind me. Ate him last night ;)
