Rob, if I could walk into a dealer and buy a brand new Whaler (know for ultimate flotation), it would have the largest bilge-pump available in it...flotation or not, any boat on the water NEEDS to have working bilge-pump(s)... ;)...YES, put a pump in it w/an automatic float-switch and a switch on the dash ;)...

bottom line a pump is cheap insurance things can go bad real fast
