She's a featherweight compared to mine I bet. My BURB weighs in close to 7K pounds without me in it. People hate me driving across there yeards. My 245/75/16 tires with all that weight in the nose digs right in.

I played around with one of my aluminum wheels yesterday. Instead of wet sanding and polishing I opted for something a little less maintenance wise. I used the duplicolor etching primer and their "Stainless steel" colored wheel paint. I wanted a satin aluminum look. While I had it off sanding, painting, etc... I went ahead and taped off for the black plastikote and did a test run on it. I like the way they came out and will probably remove it, then paint the black with some satin enamel and do the other 3 the same.
Also repainted center caps and drilled/taped the 3 holes to accept nicer phillips screws instead of the rusted allen heads that are Were in there. Let me know what you think!

Wheel looks great Stink. I agree on the phillips head screw idea too.

Looks good to me too. The black sets it off. No polishing, nice. Yet it looks polished enough to me.
