In the beginning it was brutal. Over the years it has become less brutal. She is an amazing grandmother to my children and would probably do anything for me but no good deed goes unpunished.

A wonderful old black woman named Alma gave me this advise:

"Brent, when she come in the room you gets up and walk out. Every time, every room, gets up and leave. Don't be loud, jess leave. After awhile she get the picture and thank befo she make suggestions about cho beard and boat projects in the front yard."

Lucky Jack - .......The Surprise is not old; no one would call her old. She has a bluff bow, lovely lines. She's a fine seaboat: weatherly, stiff and fast, very fast, if she's well handled. No, she's not old; she's in her prime.
