Mine has a bilge pump in the live well/fish box in the floor which is still operational. I always assumed it was factory and being that you have the hose and the wires I guess that confirms it. Being that it does not have a float switch, the only reason I can think of that wellcraft put it in there was if you should have the box full of nasty fish stinkin water and kept your boat in slip you could pump it empty any time you wanted to without having to drain it into the bilge and have the other pump pump it out. not really sure though but thats my best guess.

| Started to figure it all out.

Thanks for all the advice guys, I pulled the steering apart and the actual cable inside the tube broke, the date on the original was 1987 so it was time to break. I ended up getting a new cable system through a friend at wholesale pricing. We intalled that and took it for another test drive, but on the way back we had engine troubles. We think we've picked up water in the fuel (or that's what we're hoping). The 3 quick drives we've had in the boat, it's awesome. Thanks for the bildge pump in the livewell, I think I'll re-install one. Hopefully we'll get it all working soon. Thanks for all the help, I'm sure I'll ask more questions and I will post pics soon.
