People Are Strange

It cracks me up to see people on ebay or at public auctions
who bid on items just to win them.
They will bid more than if you would purchase the item brand new.
Are these people idiots or do they just have too much money on their hands?
Why would you not do research to make sure you are getting a good deal?

Case in point, deck pipe brand new with shipping $20
on ebay just sold for $25 with shipping.
You could even go to West or another supply house and save teh shipping.

People are willing to pay a lil extra not to take the time to drive and pick it up. Time + gas = $$$

Not to mention it is easier to go with what you know. What I mean by this is people know eBay. They may not know West Marine or Boaters world when it comes to finding what they want online and ordering it.

Then throw in the shroud of mystery of the "possibility" of "winning" a good deal....still I agree some people are really crazy. There are all types out there.

Just some things I thought about......it don't mean its true....just means its Blue's .02 (I made a rhyme!)
