So. Never having fished this area before, what do I need to bring for gear. IE; what are we fishing for? I would assume (possibly wrong) that the Stripers will be further north at this time. If we are surfcasting for Stripers, what is the shoreline like? Any structure or is it wide open beaches? Plugs or chunk? Should I bother bringing a boat rod?
