How hard would it be to build?

I would love a set of these for my new V, but I could never pay their price for them. Any ideas on building something like this? Materials? Cost? Am I nuts?

easy build it out of wood then glass inside and out and paint.

just 1/2 would work for that and use 2x2 on the inside of your corners to glue and screw too. just don't use treated wood glass won't stay bonded on it.

Plywood glass on the inside and out is the ez'st cheapest method. Or you can build a mold out of MDF and layup your own glass . . . that is real EZ too . . . but more expensive. Probably cost $300 per seat in materials if you go all glass and build it yourself.

Which method will be the lightest when completed? And what is MDF?
