Randleman, Congrads brother on the new V. She looks GREAT. I like the homemade rod box., You got a great deal on this baby, plus with reselling the motor, You did really good.
Somebody mail this man a V-20 Tee-Shirt !!. : )

When ya gonna yank the motor and do the swap ?
You could always toss teh Merc. on your other boat, but might need a jack plate. 30" shaft on the Merc. motor I thought.

Expect to see more pics. in the hours "not Days" to come. *;D ;D ;D ;D

congrats, looks great. I would do as suggested & switch starboard for the bilge door. I think mj's right about either oil or water. don't know why low voltage would set off an alarm. Was the tach working ok. On my merc, that is usually the first indicator of an electrical problem. your gonna love it welcome to the cult.

Hey Randleman, congrates on getting that cool boat! 8)

I was reading what you posted about your gas tank and it got me thinking that you may wanna take a look at the workmanship of the install. A tank 1/2 the size of the original means there's probably plenty of room to spare... or plenty of room for the tank to move! :o

Also, if it had 60 gallons before, it could have it again! ::)

Here's a a couple of sites I've been looking at while researching what I'd need to do to put a fuel tank under my deck.

This first one is the coast gaurd regs so you'll know how it should've been done: http://www.uscgboating.org/safety/bo...FUELSYSTEM.pdf

Here's the one I think I'll end up getting my gas tank from: http://www.oceanlinkinc.com/tanks/gas-diesel.htm

Here's my alternate: http://www.speedytanks.com/

Thanks for posting pics! I was starting to get a little worried about Hammer.... :o ;D ;D ;D

Just a thought on the low voltage = higher current draw = heat which may mate the switch. Nice boat by the way welcome to V ownership. Have fun getting her set up your way! Billy Mac ;D
