Resale price is all about the condition, or the perceived condition, of the motor. In really good condition, they can sell for much more than book value.

Macojoe makes a good point about the shift rod, but I am not sure what year they went to a stainless rod -- it might not apply to your motor.

Based on the posts by FUGAZI, I don't think you will be happy with the 140 4stroke, after having a 200 2stroke.

Have you considered other options like HPDI?
