Default Re: Transom replacement

Most motors recmand using 87. I *try to use a pretty good oil. But it can be big $$ form some of them. I use Penzoil most of the time.
Running wide open will kill the best of motors if done all the time!! *I have a 175 Yamaha and I run like 4500 rpm and do about 35 mph, for me that is a nice ride with out killing the motor!I top out at 5200 rpm by myself with light load I can get 41 mph. but *for 6 mph faster I am killing the thing!

I can't troll slow *:'( I have to keep putting in and out of gear! *>:( I like to troll any were from 2 to 3 mph but my motor wants to do 4 to5 and I have turned the idle down as low as i care to.

The Force looks real clean and sounds like the owner took good care of it! So i hope you will get some nice seasons out of it!! *
