Like I said before,
stay on Central Freight, make them know you will not give up. I would definately mention BBB and play the lawyer card. I work for DANA Corp, and make Heavy truck frame siderails. We used Central for small shipments to engineering centers. We are talking steel "C" channels that are 25 feet long or longer. They would lose them for weeks and then all of a sudden they would show up at the destination.
