I dont have one and probably wont on the 18...its just not worth it. I was plannin one on the 20 though.

I do have a buddy with Flowscan on a BIG Contender and its NICE! Especially when running 2/250s you can monitor exactly where the boat is running most efficient...speed vs fuel consumption.

I say they are well worth it and will probably pay for themselves over time and the peace of mind is nice too. I really feel that most of us try to run our boats at the most efficient speed, but we truely dont know. We may be burning more fuel running 28 instead of 30...know what I mean?

They are really affordable now and if you have the newer Lowarance electronics it is compatible. You floscan shows right up on the screen. 8)
