Default Manual Operation of Trim/Tilt

Hey Guys,

Can any of you tell me how to tilt my engine to the downward position while the engine is not on a boat and hooked up? Apparently, when I took the engine off the boat, I didn't lower it all the way and now I'm having trouble trying to get the engine on the stand that I made... Thanks in advance for your advice.

On my Johnson 115 there is a slot on the engine mounting bracket near the hydraulics that you insert a screwdriver and turn SLOWLY and it releases the pump pressure.
I believe all outboards have these, do a search for your engine on the computer and you should find it if no one hear knows, you did not say what engine you have but all outboards have this release somewhere and it is usually marked with and up down or release arrow and a slot to insert a screwdriver

Thanks Willy, I'll look for that screw. I thought that might be the case. I just have to look more thoroughly.

BTW, it's a Suzuki 200...
