Hey Stinky if you keep your eyes open you can find good buys on extra barrels. If your looking for a good heavy caliber that won't break your shoulder and gives you a little more umph for larger game the winchester 300 wsm or the regular 300 is a dang good one. People I know have used it on Elk and large Blacks in Alaska with excellent results. Flat shooting and a lot of good bullet weights. Sort of a beefed up 06
