Default Boating neighbors

I just took notice today that there are an awful lot of my neighbors with boats sitting in their yards. 13 just on my street alone including mine.
*Mine
*18' Bayliner
*V20 Cuddy
*V18 Wellcraft Center console
*19" Wellcraft American
*25' Bertram Bahia Mar
*28' SeaRay
*23' Proline W/A
*16' Starcraft
*20' SeaCraft Scepter
*18' Lund DC
*18' Lund Skiff
*16' Proline SC

All of these on just a one mile stretch of road and just the one street. No wonder why the ramps are so busy in the summertime. They all get used on a fairly regular basis except for the SeaRay which hasn't had the cover off in a couple of years now.
How many in your neighborhoods?
Can you tell I'm bored?

CB - I live in a somewhat urban area (not much space to store boats), but there are 5 boats within a few hundred yards of my home.

23ft seacraft
22 =/- ft bayliner trophy
16ft open skiff
(2) 22 - 24ft sailboats

How's your project coming along?

I've been nibbling away at a few things but overall, a little slow. Mostly because of the holidays and all so I'm hoping to really get into some good stuff soon. I also hope this favorable weather continues. My real stumbling block is the fact that not so good news on the job situation may be in the near future. There's quite a few rumors flying around about some layoffs and if so, things don't look good for the newbie. Keeping my fingers crossed.

The one good thing about these spam-holes is that sometimes they reach back and pull up a thread that is worth revisiting...CB's obsevation way back when is pretty cool...I look around today and there is not a single boat for miles way out here in the country...well there is that one alum. semi-v sitting on the ground in the horse pasture up the road...
