Yeah , they are edible. Sometimes when I put a hook through em I shed a little tear or two. *::)


I can usually catch 3 or 4 dozen in a 10 minute drag and I only have a 6' net. They arent as thick right now due to the high salinity of the water. Alot of em are up river right now.

Oh, I should have mentioned that I caught the reds on croakers. I caught DOZENS of live croakers with just a few shrimp. Sorry, didnt mean to mislead. ;D
