Brad, the old stripe wasnt too hard to get off. I used a hair dryer to heat up the old stripe and worked it with a plastic putty knife. A little adhesive was left behind so I cleaned it up with acetone.
As far as lining up the new stripe its pretty simple. When yoo remove the old stripe there will be a defined outline of where the gellcoat hasnt faded, just follow the line. Pipe, I trailer her so no worries about a fuzzy transom ;) |
