i have a 150 mercury o,b and asked the same question it came with a 14x19 inch prop and was not happy low top end and cavitates
i switched to a 15x17 and its like a knew engine go with a 15x17 i turn aluminum but if i get the cash i would get s.s. very, VERY happy with it oh yeah the year of the motor is 1988 shouldnt make a differance just in case you wanted to know
