Don t know if you have ever pulled the tank. On my 83,the original was foamed into the fuel compartment with a PVC pipe running under the tank. This was to keep leaking fuel out of the bilge. If u had fuel coming out of the transom drain, might indicate leak is on the top on the tank, where all the hoses are.
Just trying to help u think positive till spring |

btw, you're far better off with an empty tank for the winter than a full one, especially if theres any ethanol in the tank, If you have a poly tank, you wont get any condensation, if you have a n aluminum one, you will get very little

Spareparts it’s a poly tank when I bough5 my boat about 30 years ago it was leaking from the welds on top. I’m thinking and hoping it’s a fitting that came loose. It’s always something. I’m going to take the panel off and see if I can find where it’s leaking from. Before I even start her next year. I hav3 to fixit. And I hav3 to fix the broken roller on 5he trailer too .
Spareparts ,if you ever move to nj. Let me know. We need a good honest marine mechanic
