There’s one store in Portland that has around 1650 router bit profiles - when I got that $460 bid, I saddled up and headed there. Was able to match the profile on my window so I can make some parts and splice them in to restore the bottom 6” or so. I do like doing this stuff, and I have a reasonable amount of machinery which helps.

My grandfather taught me to work, and some skills when I was 15 and got me started. He did what your dad does, all with hand tools. I inherited most of his tools and I love working with them, but I can’t make them do what he did with them. Things have changed a lot and it’s nice to hold onto the old ways a little.

Going black fishing tomorrow. At least that’s the plan
I will let you guys know how I do. But unfortunately I can’t give away my secret spot. My kids will kill me. Let’s just say it’s closer than to think. ***129300; ; ;

Step, Not sure where you live in New Jersey, but I will take a guess, the Shrewsbury Rocks, that use to be a great spot to catch big Tog or the Romer Shoal Light?
This morning is just perfect, temps are just right and the best, no wind ENJOY and lets see some big White Chins

You and your kids have a Fun day, pulling up those monster Blacks, you need muscles

Well not much to report from yesterday. Hooked a nice 3-4 lb speckled but he decided not to get in the boat. That was the only action of the day. Going again next week. Love Sea Bass fishing! We just have to go so far out to catch the big ones.

Shrewsbury rocks are a great spot BUT. That’s not the area I go to. Much much much closer
That’s not close to me, I pull out of Atlantic highlands. And I never did very good at the rocks. I did do good at the reef. But that’s not the spot. I know that the golden eagle is doing good but that’s a ride. Stripers and bluefish.
I know the rocks are a great spot for fluke. Bu5nyou lose a lot of tackle. Rocks are the enemy

Step, Thanks - I'm handicapped right now, so fishing isn't in my future any longer. I guess Romer Shoal is also out. I hope your still getting out, this weather is really holding up, shorts and short sleeves
