Read claim of 60 mph with a 200 hp outboard
Thats by far fastest as most report 45-52 range Personally, I would have gone 250 + but V21 max rating 200. The lightest 300 would be my choice if allowed. |

easily done with proper setup, Ridge Runner was running high 60s with his 250, theres a v20 with a 300 merc 4 stroke in V running high 60's with a conservative setup

Almost literally flying. When I first repowered with the Yamaha 200 HPDI I could hit 50 with fresh bottom paint on smooth water with the engine trimmed. It felt dicey with so little of the hull in the water. I rarely exceed 40 these days. Of course, I AM old.
