Steering cable length

Good luck on that one, I asked the same question about my outboard and got a few differant answers but if I remember correctly it was 17 feet but I could be wrong .
I would take out the old one and get the correct measurement ,I know it sucks doing it that way but then you know it will be the correct lenght.

Yeah, looks like I'll have to do it that way.

Was just hoping someone on here had the same model and had changed their cable at least once in the last 40 years.
