Which way ?water impeller

clockwise. It doesn't really matter, teh blades will flip over, I've seen some with half the blades one way and half the other(only on large blade impellers). You're not scooping water, the water is pumped by the area differential from one side of the shaft to the other, that's why the shaft is offset in relationship to the housing

Spare I saved them old holdings with the impeller inside,I was looking at them and one was one way and the other was the other way, so your saying nothing to really sworry about . That's good news. I heard before they will flip but they didn't. Plus I think I turned the shaft to the right,clock wise.

I've been installing them for so long i had to stop for a minute and think about which way i spin them

Had a good friend that claimed it did not matter because when you put boat in reverse, the impeller would spin the other way anyway

I think I'm losing it, I'm looking at the fins and like I said they are bent opposite then I remembered I took out the impeller to look at it and when I put it back in the housing I put it in opposite that's why one was facing the other way. DUH. Hey spare, I know what your talking about, I drove a truck for a living ,it was a 8 speed and when my customers would ask me where is first gear? I didn't remember, I just got in and drove ,I never even thought about first gear ,I just knew where it was. Like you ,you did it do many times you had to think which way do I turn the shaft.
