Looks to me like CNN is trying to manufacture a lie. He said he must have misunderstood the question, and it's obvious he's not interested in CNN's gotcha nonsense when he's trying to address actual serious issues like Biden's abject failure at the boarder.

You dig up two "possible" less than truthful statements by Republicans and now being a LIAR is the new way to be a major player in the party? This is brainless, even for you and your far left world view.

How about focusing on important issues, one of which is what bald-faced liars massive numbers of democrats are. My observation is that you pretty much have to check the "Yes I am a LIAR" box to get a democrat seat on a committee in congress.

It’s not about honesty on our part, it’s that we’re not stupid enough to believe anything you say without well sourced documentation, which you seldom provide. Your links, more often than not, provide no more than heavily biased opinions (often probably fabrications) reported as facts.

And regarding your “so what” objection - the article you posted posited that most or all politicians lie - their difficulty with McCarthy was that he wasn’t clever about it. There’s a good demonstration of the integrity of your press sources.
