That's how I got my handle. I caught a couple from the surf at Hatteras and didn't know what they were. We were keeping about everything that day because we wanted to feed about 8 or 10 people that evening. Ate those, actually thought they weren't bad, but I was young and stupid back then. Now I'm just old and stupid.

By the way, I take it with a grain of salt when someone says a species isn't edible.

Because if you salt it heavily, you can't tell that it tastes terrible.

B, yep, had it 6 years now, been great so far, 760 hours. Still miss the 2 stroke every now and then, but not too much.

Good point. Blue. we used to throw back triggers, B-Liners, and red grouper, now we can't find em fast enough.
