Yes - trumps ACTUAL environmental record was horrible as he tried to repeal about every protection in place, plus allow drilling where Americans continually vote AGAINST .

Lack of previously expanded drilling is just ONE reason why oil prices are so high.
1. War
2. Global demand covid snap back
3. Global Inflation due to worker issues

Big OIL has NEVER wanted the price too low - and therefore does NOT support too much drilling and too much supply.
