Charleston area is already ruined. Great place to visit, becoming too expensive to live here. Sales tax has gone from 4% to 9% since I moved here in 98. Housing has tripled since then, and traffic is 10 times worse. With the rivers, lakes, water ways, the military bases and gov property, there's not much room to build anymore major roads. this area is one of the top places to move to in the country, and it shows. We used to live in a quiet town, but now there is so much development, its packed full( see Nexton Development) I very rarely use the water around here unless its work related, and only on weekdays, the weekends are crazy. We used to at least have the winters to fish in peace, now you're lucky to hit one of your fishing holes without two guides trying to squeeze in front of you. I've got four more years to keep SC residency for my youngest to go to College, after that we will strongly consider moving closer to my place in Sneads Ferry NC, its close proximity to Camp Lejune keeps the developers away. Nothing like waking up to artillery fire at 5 am to keep the retirees away. The range for the big guns is more than 15 miles away, but it still shakes the house

I hear what your saying and feel sorry for you guys, I have a friend who goes to Florida every year to stay with his niece well he got real sick this year and Had to go to the hospital ,well he has to go for treatments two weeks on and two weeks off he told me that the traffic there is so bad it takes hours to get there , he takes route 4 accross and I know that road but everyone is moving there ( the villages) places that used to be quiet and affordable are going away , Sad , even here where I live used to be a small quiet town , no more every piece of space is being developed so taxes go up and crime too it's still very nice here in mount Arlington but you can see the change and if this was in a state where taxes were low( it's not) it would be bad here too . I live next to a lake that you can't get on it on the weekends I'm retired so I have a choice plus I love the ocean It's 75 miles away
This state could be good but the corruption is ramped up
Hey wait I was talking about my boat Lol Spare if I ever decide to move I will tell you My sister in law lives in Georgia And it's really nice where she is My wife wants to go there I don't the ocean is to far
Spare sorry I bent your ear Have yourself a great day today

Replaced the 3 - way valve, is there a way to check the valve to see if it was bad?

blow in it from each direction, with your finger over one end, should allow air to go thru from the end that didn't have a hose on it

I did that and the larger holes the air goes thru no problem but the smaller hole , I think it might be were the oil line gets hooked to doesn't flow thru. I check the old and new ones the same way and they seem the same. I wish I knew how to post a picture of it.

Spare, it has three hole outlets one small one that I think is hooked to the oil and two larger hole outlets
The larger outlets / hole air flows thru no problem
The smaller outlet/hole that the oil hose goes to has no air flow at all even when I close one larger hole and blow nothing goes thru the smaller one
Is that good?
I don't understand what the oil outlet hole does? If no air flows thru than how does the oil flow thru? I guess that's why you mechanics get the big bucks, I would love to learn how it all works but I'm retired now and just want to fix what I have.
