Stock market rallying on Biden-Russia Sanctions

So far today it seems Putin may have “ blinked”

The very deep, impactful sanctions President Biden launched, in concert with our European allies seems to have resulted in “ stop invasion and talk “

Even China has reportedly reached out to Putin to knock it off, as these sanctions hit them in the wallet too.

We’ll see……hopefully this plays out towards a peaceful settlement.

Well, since even members of Biden's own party are saying that the sanctions are too little and probably too late that's a matter for conjecture.

Personally I hope you are right. I have family living in the Ukraine. Fortunately they are close to the western side of the Country, but the men are not allowed to leave the Country so they could easily wind up on the firing line.

I think that Putin's "supposed" willingness to talk is either a scam or because of a number of reasons, including his own citizens demonstrating against the war as well as the sanctions and most importantly the fierce resistance that the Ukrainians are putting up. He will never be able to win the war in the Ukraine if all the people fight against him.

Putin’s claim to be willing to talk unfortunately is likely a scam .

We can increase sanctions and will see, but not worth nuclear war with Russia .

You mocked our response of deep sanctions which will greatly impact Russia’s ability to conduct global business. It’s already costing Russian Oligarchs $ billions.

So instead you must want WAR with Russia which could too easily go nuclear
