Hmmm - you ignore the point that your thread is presented in a way to paint ALL republicans as supporting violence, when in fact there probably aren't any (if any, a VERY few - way fewer than democrats who support raging violence, "protesting" under their false narrative).

Your own source, far left source, even reports that the RNC had no intention to suggest that the violent actors were included in their legitimate discourse statement.

You continue to ignore that the VAST majority of the demonstrators were peaceful and were, in fact, engaged in legitimate political discourse.
And that no one on this site, to my recollection, has said anything other than that the violent rioters should receive appropriate due process.

Even after witnessing the smarmy, lying Pelosi and Schiff run what they knew very well was a dishonest witch hunt based on lies to obtain warrants, lying that they had Trump cold on hard evidence, which of course they didn't, you still suggest that there could be a fair and honest "investigation" in this congress?

I understand partisan bias, but your partisan bias to the point of blindness is disturbing. If a Republican were needing to be investigated, I would want a full, thorough and FAIR investigation, not the Kangaroo court made up of far left political hacks and their frightened followers that we've seen over the past few years, while wasting MILLIONS of our taxpayer dollars.

Here’s a test of your intellect - my patriotism is quite solid:

Yes, violent people broke into the capitol claiming to support Trump - no one here to my recollection has ever denied or made excuses for that. You don’t seem able to separate the vast majority of people at the demonstration, and even a good number who entered the capitol, who were not violent.

I’m not at all convinced that “threats” to hang Mike Pence were more than the “I’m going to kill you” that people often say in anger with no intention of actually doing it, but neither you nor I know that. Evidence of that might come to light in an honest investigation, on the very long chance that one is conducted.
