Charlie - just wear some good rain gear in the shower and you'll be fine. Maybe a 2nd job to provide the $100 bills.

Hey guys. I found a guy on Facebook with an almost identical setup. He says he got decent numbers. Talked about what a light boat it is. I never thought of these as light.
Providing it’s not waterlogged, what’s the weight on a 92?

We have an ‘06 Yukon Denali and it tows our ‘85 I/O on dual axle trailer with brakes on one axle like it’s not even back there. There are a lot of the Chevy version of that rig out there - not super gas mileage, but you’re doing short tows. Another benefit is that you can throw a lot of stuff in the rig, out of the weather and locked up. A lesser known feature (at least on ours) it the very tight turning radius - maneuverability is better than any rig I’ve ever had.
I think one of the guys suggested this vehicle in some earlier thread.

WOW!!!! Congrats Charlie!! Nice looking boat. Happy you finally found "the one". Only bit of advice I can give you is ALWAYS, before launching, MAKE SURE the drain plug is back in and tight.

Nice boat. It was 55 in PA today, where you out looking at it? Thinking about taking the shrink wrap off?
My keychain has an orange plastic drain plug on it. To get your attention and remember to put one in. Or when that guy next to you forgets and you can give him one. |

Hey D, I can relate, many many moons ago, my cousin bought this 18' Mako. We worked on it all winter to get it ready and we were just waiting for the Stripers. We got the report, Bunker in the harbor, so we launched her from Prince's Bay, Staten Island and headed to Great Kill Harbor. We get into the harbor and slowed down looking for the Bunker, then I say, Stevie why an I standing in water, we got a leak. I guess you all know what was said next!!!
