My use of the glue is almost always to repair cracks in my hands. They crack if I work with stuff that's too dry/dusty and if I work/fish and they get wet a lot.

I think it's normal to close the cut or crack and glue it shut - that works best for me. There's a lot of difference in how different brands perform - I just bought some Gorilla and am looking forward to trying it out.

In general, I've had pretty good results with their original glue for woodworking projects, but it has it's limitations, particularly how much it expands. Their tape is amazingly sticky - I use it whenever plain old duct tape isn't good enough to rely on.

4 or 5 years ago we were cleaning up a boat after a fishin trip. It was on the trailer at the ramp. My friend jumped off the swim platform. Fell to the ground. He broke his leg just above the ankle, screws and a plate. Needed more than superglue for that one! He wont do that again.
