Fact There was a demonstration on Jan 6. A small number of the demonstrators (when compared to the overall number there) got out of hand and broke the law. No one was seriously injured except for the woman that was murdered by the capital police thug. They supposedly caused 1.5 million dollars of damage. The rioters were hunted down, thrown into cells and kept without bail for months, most in solitary confinement and are now receiving long jail sentences for relatively minor crimes by a highly biased judge.

Fact In comparison, throughout the preceding summer there were riots throughout American cities. Buildings were looted and burned, people were hauled from their cars and beaten, several people, including several police that were targeted were murdered. The damage estimate was over a billion dollars. Most of the rioters were never apprehended. Those that were were released without bail, usually the same day. Most have never stood trial.

Have you actually read the charges that have been levied against most of the rioters? Yes, some are serious, but it seems most are just the same boiler plate over and over. Nope - not even close destroyer . This trump encouraged historic violent attempt to stop our Presidential transfer of power and hang our Vice President has generated the largest criminal investigation in the history of our nation.

It won’t just “ go away “ or be minimized as you'd prefer .

Oh, I don't doubt that the "justice" dept. has launched the largest criminal investigation in the history of our nation. Under the Democrats the weaponizing of the FBI and other branches of the DOJ by Obama is well known and has only gotten worse under Biden. They are doing everything in their power to find and punish anyone that they think is even remotely connected with the Jan 6 demonstration. If they cannot find anything I'm sure that they will invent something like they always do.
