Yea, I see torsion worn out all the time(buddy runs a trailer shop), not a hard job, measure for the replacements at least three times before ordering. You need to double check that price, galvanized just went thru the roof. Lets Go Brandon

No, doesn’t look like a big job, but I know it’s pretty pricey. How bad would it be dragging it home 60 plus miles?

Well, I spoke to the guy and I’m 75% sure he’ll drag it to my driveway. It’s a pretty good trip, so I’m gonna give him the $4K he asked for. It had a small soft spot on the tank hatch he reinforced with what looks like a stainless plate. It doesn’t concern me and the fact that it’s on the tank hatch will make it easier to repair, when I have the time and a few extra bucks. Looks like it’ll be here with me in the next couple weeks. I know it’s a pain in the a$$ to post pictures, but I’ll give it a go.
I’ll keep you posted.

We’re not there yet. I think he’s hoping he’ll get somebody to swoop in and drag it away. I’m not sure that’s gonna happen. If he calls me in another month or two, I’m gonna beat him down another grand. Right now, he’s just kind of jerking me around.

Well, my focus has shifted to a mako 17 with an old evinrude 110. Says it runs great and has great compression. Roadworthy trailer and a good $$ number.

What say you gents?
